World Congress for Middle Eastern Studies
Barcelona, July 19th - 24th 2010
WOCMES is offering the Media a double opportunity: on one hand it is providing access to the most recent political, social, cultural, and economic studies regarding the Mediterranean basin. And on the other, the congress is providing an opportunity of direct interaction and contact with internationally recognized experts whom have completed their research and are contributors to decision making as well as players in public opinion formation.
Barcelona is to host a colorful edition of WOCMES with more than 2500 participants arriving from 72 countries. The first and second editions of WOCMES took place in Germany (2002) and Jordan (2006) respectively. In each edition more than 100 journalists had covered the Event.
Press Accreditation
All journalists and media technical staff planning to cover the WOCMES must be accredited.
Please submit your accreditation request to: jbertran@iemed.org The request must include name, surname, number of Identity Card, media, position. You could also attach the Congress’ subjects of interest to you.
The accreditation deadline is Thursday 15th July 2010. All accredited media will receive a confirmation e-mail.
