World Congress for Middle Eastern Studies

Barcelona, July 19th - 24th 2010

The WOCMES Barcelona 2010 cultural activities program offers the opportunity to present initiatives and projects that will help value, promote, and transmit the cultural heritage in North Africa, Middle East, and Muslim countries in Central Asia.

The cultural activities proposals have to be presented through an electronic procedure including the basic information regarding its format and contents.

The transportation and the installation of the project will be at the charge of the organizer of the proposal.

The Scientific Committee will give preference to initiatives that will enforce the following:

- Cultural exchanges, communication and the cooperation between different institutions and networks.
- The awareness of different people and cultures through cultural dialogue.
- Developing and deepening cultural knowledge, comprehension, language and civilization.
